Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a friendly Recreation Worker to plan, develop and run meaningful recreation and leisure activities for residents in our Ontario home. You will support resident skills, foster community connections, and promote wellbeing through engaging programs.

We value experience with seniors, a degree or diploma in recreation and leisure studies (or current enrollment), and the ability to collaborate with families, volunteers and staff to create joyful, person-centered activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors in long-term care.
• Graduate or enrolled in a recreation/leisure program.
• Ability to plan and facilitate activities across wellness domains.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and run recreation and leisure activities.
• Support development of resident skills and relationships.
• Collaborate with residents, families, volunteers and staff to foster engagement.
