Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate diploma/degree in recreation and leisure studies or therapeutic recreation.
• Enrolled in a related program with intent to complete within 3 years.
• Experience in health care or long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and run daily recreation and leisure activities.
• Create engaging spaces/environments for resident participation.
• Observe and document changes in residents’ ability to participate.
• Support departments to foster resident engagement.
• Lead programs and participate in program evaluation.
