The role involves reviewing funding claims, applying program rules, and delivering clear documentation of findings. Remote work is primary, with occasional on-site attendance near Edmonton, AB, under a 1-hour driving distance constraint.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• MS Office, especially Excel/Outlook, with formulas and large data filtering.
• 3+ years of accurate data processing and/or data entry.
• 1+ year of business writing, communication and documentation.
• 3+ years in government or regulated settings with complex policy.
• 3+ years working with clients to gather and analyze business data.

Responsibilities

• Review funding claims and supporting docs for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze financial, operational, and program data to identify discrepancies.
• Apply legislation, policies, guidelines, and funding agreements.
• Validate information from operators using multiple sources and docs.
• Calculate adjustments, recoveries, or overpayments when needed.
• Prepare correspondence, summaries, and findings for daily tasks.
