Job summary

Amyantek Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Post-Payment Verification Analyst to support government-funded child care programs.

You will review funding claims, supporting documentation, and program information to ensure accuracy and compliance, analyzing financial and operational data, and communicating findings to stakeholders. This 5-month contract role is primarily remote with occasional on-site attendance in Edmonton, Alberta, within Alberta.

Qualifications

• 3+ years using MS Office Excel and Outlook with formulas and large spreadsheets.
• 3+ years data processing and/or data entry experience.
• 1 year business writing, communication and documentation experience.
• 3 years in government or highly regulated environment with complex policy/governance.
• 3 years working with clients/stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review funding claims and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
• Analyze financial, operational and program data to identify discrepancies or issues.
• Interpret and apply legislation, policies, guidelines, funding agreements and program requirements.
• Validate information from operators and stakeholders using multiple information sources.
• Calculate adjustments, recoveries, overpayments and other financial impacts as required.
• Prepare correspondence, summaries, reports, findings, recommendations and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and electronic files.
• Communicate with operators and stakeholders about documentation requirements and findings.
