Job summary

3M is seeking a Territory Development Representative for Western Canada. This remote position focuses on finding and developing net-new PPE sales opportunities across the region while enabling the Account Management team to concentrate on priority accounts.

You will prospect, train customers, and collaborate with marketing/technical teams to drive growth. Travel up to 80% within BC, AB, SK may be required; relocation assistance may be authorized.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Three years of sales experience.
• One year of Salesforce experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and acquiring net-new accounts with high growth potential by analyzing market and account data to prioritize targets, then pursue through customer outreach, site visits, and face-to-face engagement with facility managers, safety directors, and procurement teams.
• Developing newly acquired accounts into high-potential, high-value customers through cross-selling, product expansion, and relationship building before handing off to the Account Management team
• Conducting training presentations to new and potential customers and long-tail channel partners, driving opportunities and promoting 3M solutions.
• Collaborating with Marketing and Technical teams to assist with market research, new product launches, and promotional projects.
• Handing off matured accounts to the priority account team once they reach defined revenue thresholds or repeat purchase milestones.
• Personal development — product and regulatory knowledge through self-study and corporate training programs.
