Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a dynamic Parts Sales Representative (PSR) to join our team in Canada. The PSR will call on existing customers, develop new clients through cold calls, and sell parts, services, and related products within a defined territory.

Responsibilities include quoting, contracting, and managing inventory alongside the Parts Department. The role requires strong communication, selling skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents including safety rules and manuals.
• Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Must maintain effective working relationships across departments.
• Willing to work off-hours as needed and take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing customers regularly and develop new ones through cold calling within the territory.
• Travel within the territory to solicit orders and engage customers on the sales floor or by phone.
• Display products and emphasize features; support marketing through distribution of flyers and samples.
• Prepare quotes, credit terms, and sales contracts; process credit applications when applicable.
• Estimate delivery dates based on schedules and inventory; manage consignments and restocking levels.
• Meet sales quotas and adhere to company policies while maintaining professional customer relationships.
