Job summary

A leading technology organization is searching for a DevOps Team Lead / Senior DevOps Engineer to join their remote Infrastructure team in Canada. This role requires strong experience in DevOps within a SaaS environment, with hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code. Key responsibilities include leading a multidisciplinary team, improving CI/CD processes, and managing cloud deployments. Qualifications

• Strong experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure role within a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Experience deploying and supporting SaaS platforms in a public cloud environment (Azure preferred).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Pulumi preferred; Terraform or similar also considered).
• Experience with GitOps and deployment orchestration tools (e.g., ArgoCD or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, networking, security, and scalability concepts.
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to align teams toward shared technical goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a DevOps function within a multidisciplinary infrastructure and security team.
• Design, plan, and coordinate infrastructure initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
• Partner closely with software development teams to adapt infrastructure practices.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines through enhanced automation and GitOps practices.
• Manage and execute deployments across cloud environments.
• Strengthen monitoring, observability, and alerting to proactively identify issues.
• Continuously improve system stability, scalability, and cost visibility.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
