Job summary

Embrace Software Inc. is growing its M&A-based Business Development team and seeks a junior professional to source software acquisitions. You will reach out to owners, CEOs and founders, build relationships, and qualify opportunities with pace and rigor.

This remote role includes onboarding in Toronto and periodic in-person sessions. You’ll leverage your study background in business/finance and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and initiative to hit monthly and quarterly BD

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program at a Canadian or U.S. university with a co‑op or internship option.
• Strong verbal and written communication with senior stakeholders (owners, CEOs, advisors).
• Interest in software M&A and ability to work remotely with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities and source software acquisition targets for Embrace.
• Initiate and maintain relationships with owners, CEOs and M&A advisors to qualify opportunities.
• Track accounts in Salesforce and meet quarterly BD targets with autonomous collaboration.
