Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Breslau, ON is seeking a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join our safety‑conscious team. The route runs from Breslau to various disposal sites, including cross‑border trips to the US, usually 2–3 days away.

This is a union position with 55–60 hours per week and a wage of $35.26 per hour. Must have passport/FAST card and tanker experience; TDG and tanker endorsements are required. Training and benefits follow after probation.

Qualifications

• Class AZ CDL required and TDG tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months Class AZ experience and 3 months tanker experience.
• Passport is mandatory for cross-border trips to the US.
• Ability to drive manual transmission and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport re-refined and used motor oil via tractor-trailer tanker unit.
• Collect fuel loads and water materials from branches and dispatch to recycle center.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements and adhere to weight limits.

Safety-Kleen is looking for a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Breslau, ON. This route runs from Breslau, ON to various site-disposal locations including cross border into USA (PA, OH, NY, NH, RI, IL, IN, MI,) QC. M-F Approx. 55-60 hours a week wage $35.26. MUST HAVE PASSPORT/ FAST CARD & LIQUID TANKER EXPERIENCE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Transports re-refined and used motor oil to customer and Safety-Kleen locations, utilizing a tractor-trailer tanker unit
• Collects fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen branches and transports to our Safety-Kleen recycle center
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class AZ CDL
• Minimum 12 months Class AZ experience
• Minimum 3 months Tanker experience
• TDG and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed)
• Valid Canadian Passport
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
