Clean Harbors in Guelph, ON is seeking a Class AZ Driver to join our safety-conscious team. You will transport and perform pickups using Vacuum Trucks, Tankers and Tractor Trailer units across the GTA.

Requirements include AZ CDL, clean driving record, 3 years’ operating experience, and ability to operate vacuum trucks, tankers, and tractor-trailers. Manual transmission experience is required. We provide PPE, benefits after 30 days, RRSP matching and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive Vac Trucks, Tanker units and Tractor Trailer across the GTA.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with health and safety policies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Load and unload hazardous/non-hazardous waste with proper placarding and documentation.
• Work with customers and team to ensure timely pickups and transport of materials.

Clean Harbors in Guelph, ON is seeking a Class AZ Driver to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will transport and perform a variety of pickups using Vacuum Trucks, Tankers and Tractor Trailer units for various customers throughout the GTA.

Responsibilities

• Driving Vac Trucks and Tanker units throughout the GTA transporting a variety of materials (i.e. Wastewater Treatment materials).
• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Drive, operate and maintain assigned units.
• Drive and operate Class AZ Tractor Trailer & Tanker units.
• Drive and operate Vac Truck and Vac Tanker units.
• Guarantee proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste.
• Perform pre-and-post-trip inspections and ensure the equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet all requirements and regulations.
• Complete field level risk assessments and other related paperwork.
• Work as part of a team with customers, co-workers & supervisors.
• Drive units for work throughout GTA - 401, 403, and 407 Highways in Ontario.

Qualifications

• AZ Commercial Driver's License & 3 years’ operating experience.
• Clean Driving record and own reliable transportation to commute to our facility.
• Previous Tanker Experience Required.
• Previous Vacuum Truck Experience Preferred.
• Manual Transmission Experience Required.
• Complete physicality of position.
• Ability to be clean shaved to be fitted for a respirator.
• Adhere to all Transportation Compliance policies.
