Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our safety-conscious Chemical Cleaning team in Canada. You will operate wet vat trucks, tankers, and general yellow irons to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.

Responsibilities include inspecting, loading/unloading, and communicating with dispatchers, while upholding safety standards in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license.
• Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair.

Job description

Clean Harbors is looking for Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our safety conscious Chemical Cleaning team! RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating and driving equipment to and from work sites;
• Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods;

• Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license;
• Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair;
• Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience.
• Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day and site arrival). Training can be arranged.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
• Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
