In this role, the Recreation Therapist:

• Develops and implements personalized therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents' needs.
• Supervises and guides recreational assistants, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and monitor progress to maximize resident independence and participation.
• Promotes physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being through engaging activities.
• Collaborates with families, interdisciplinary teams, and volunteers to create a supportive and enriching environment.

Looking for a Recreation Therapist who:

• Holds a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Recreation Therapy.
• Member of ATRA, Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Therapist Association
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
