Job summary

A leading transport solutions provider is looking for a full-time Project Verification and Validation Designer in Toronto, ON. In this role, you'll apply your analytical and technical expertise to ensure the safety and performance of signaling systems. You’ll define testing strategies, develop test plans, and mentor junior team members. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of related experience in a railway environment. The position offers a dynamic work environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Verification and Validation in a railway environment.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Experience in complex environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Project Testing Strategy and V&V Plan.
  • Develop and execute test plans for in-house and site activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment requirements.

Skills

Engineering degree or related
Verification and Validation experience in railways
Interlocking and Control Systems knowledge
Knowledge of Metrolinx and AREMA standards
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication in English
