Qualifications

Job Type: Full-Time – Current Vacancy

Salary: $71,800 - $103,300 base salary

Position Summary

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily activities of Receiving Inspection, Quality Technicians, and Dock Audit Inspectors to ensure product, process, and system quality requirements are consistently met. This role supports production by driving compliance with AS9100/ISO standards, managing nonconformities, supporting MRB decisions, and ensuring containment, traceability, and quality documentation. The Quality Supervisor also provides training, coaching, and performance management for direct reports while contributing to continuous improvement and problem‑solving initiatives.

About You

Education & Experience
  • Education: Post‑secondary education with Quality Assurance Certification (CQE/QCA) or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a quality‑related role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge
  • AS9100 and ISO quality management standards (Defence Industry experience preferred)
  • SPC methodology and interpretation
  • Blueprint reading and GD&T principles
  • Gauge selection, calibration procedures, and functionality
  • Customer specifications and requirements for inspection and compliance
  • Problem‑solving methodologies (8D, 5‑WHY)
  • ERP/MRP systems (e.g. DAX) and QA systems (e.g. Relyence)
Skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage frequent interruptions
  • Strong analytical, audit, and reporting skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
