Our intelligent, cloud identity platform lets people shop, work, bank, and interact wherever and however they want. Without friction. Without fear.

While protecting digital identities is at the core of our technology, protecting individual identities is at the core of our culture. We champion every identity. One of our core values, Respect Individuality, reminds us to celebrate differences so you are empowered to bring your authentic self to work.

We're headquartered in Denver, Colorado and we have offices and employees around the globe. We serve the largest, most demanding enterprises worldwide, including more than half of the Fortune 100. At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.

We’re looking for a passionate Quality Engineer II to join the Platform UI team and elevate the quality and reliability of web applications that power Ping Identity’s next-generation platform. From defining automation strategies to taking features from concept through release, you’ll work hands-on with product managers, engineers, and QA peers to deliver seamless, secure digital identity experiences in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally focused team.

The ideal applicant will have strong test automation experience, analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for improving quality through strategy, tooling, and maintainable frameworks. If you are self-driven, passionate about learning, thrive in a collaborative environment, and have effective communication skills, then we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Plan and refine features from a QA perspective in collaboration with product managers and developers
  • Draft test plans in TestRail and review developer-authored test strategies
  • Own and maintain our Cypress + Gherkin-based test automation framework
  • Build, maintain, and review automated tests, including contributions from developers
  • Collaborate with our UX and product teams to ensure user journeys are thoroughly tested and frictionless
  • Advocate for best practices in testing, automation, and quality throughout the SDLC
  • Participate in release activities and provide risk assessments for production readiness
  • Drive continuous improvement in test tooling, frameworks, and processes across the team
  • Mentor and guide developers and other QAs in contributing to high-quality automated tests
If you find yourself checking off most of the below, this role could be a great fit:
  • 3+ years of experience driving quality assurance for complex, production-scale web applications
  • Experience testing modern web applications built with React.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte.js
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing approaches and tools
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills
Nice To Have:
  • Experience with visual regression testing tools (Percy, Storybook, Applitools, etc.)
  • Familiarity with accessibility tooling such as axe-core or pa11y
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity management concepts
  • Experience working within distributed teams
  • Experience with application security practices (OWASP Top 10)
  • Experience with systems at scale, Docker, or Kubernetes
Why Should You Join Us:
  • Be part of an outstanding, collaborative team and work alongside exceptional engineers and product experts.
  • Build and deliver solutions using the latest web technologies and frameworks.
  • Deepen your expertise in authentication and authorization protocols, and gain hands‑on experience in identity and access management (IAM) at enterprise scale.
  • Help shape the future of our developer experience — you’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, build impactful solutions, and bring our vision for a best‑in‑class web platform to life.

Salary: CAD $75,000-90,000
