We are looking to hire a QA Analyst Agile Tester. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of software testing methodologies and should enjoy working in and alongside agile teams.

The main responsibility of QA Analyst is to work with a team of product specialists and client representatives to develop acceptance tests supporting user stories the teams are working on, execute these tests, and analyze the test results.

Additionally, QA Analyst is designing and executing test strategies to assure quality of integrated solutions we deliver to our customers.

These tests complement the automated functional tests integrated in product teams CI/CD/Continuous Testing pipelines and typically have a strong focus on manual explorative and risk-based testing.

As a QA Analyst, you are expected to think critically, perform explorative testing as well as review escaped defects and formulate strategies to improve the quality of the solutions. Experience with broadcasting or advertising industries is an advantage.

QA Analyst Responsibilities and Duties:

• Participate in story-writing and refinement focus on formulating the acceptance tests that serve both as input for test automation by the development team and further manual testing
• Functional testing based on the acceptance tests written prior and risk-based testing strategies (manual or tool-assisted)
• Explorative testing
• Documenting software defects found and communicate closely with development teams
• Review and extend product documentation, including user and configuration guides
• Participate in review and resolution of incidents/escaped defects
• Support our business consultants working directly with our clients and their Information Technology teams

QA Analyst Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer science, engineering or business administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance testing and data integration
• Focus on manual testing and explorative testing
• Strong understanding of agile test tools and methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills
• Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new products and with processes of a given domain
• ISTQB Agile Tester, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, or similar certifications

The following experience and qualifications are optional but a great advantage

• Experience with software automation testing tools, preferably TricentisTOSCA
• Experience with broadcasting or advertising industries
