Job summary

Walmart Canada in Brooks, AB is seeking a maintenance cleaning associate to participate in a structured cleaning program and help maintain a clean, safe shopping and work environment.

You will follow food safety standards, clean all Fresh Departments, inspect equipment, and ensure supplies. The role includes completing in-store certifications, supporting company policies, and performing routine floor cleaning in non-sales areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum wage for this position starts at $16.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assists in inspecting all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing required in-store certification programs and following company policies and procedures.
• When required, cleans floors using mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintains carpets in non-sales areas.
