Job summary

Walmar in St. Catharines, ON is seeking an in-store cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program and help control expenses to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.

The role involves coordinating with store associates, following food safety and cold chain guidelines, cleaning all Fresh Departments and fixtures, inspecting equipment, and supporting required safety certifications. It may include floor care for non-sales areas and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• 1. Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• 2. Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• 3. Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• 4. Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• 5. Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• 6. When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
