Job summary

Walmart Canada in Slave Lake, AB is hiring for a store cleaner responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all Fresh Departments and ensuring food safety standards. You will assist with equipment checks, supplies, and in-store certifications, while following company policies.

This role includes floor care such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming as needed. Minimum age is 18, and compliance with food safety and cold chain guidelines is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking and Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in inspection of maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
