Job summary

Walmart Canada in Pembroke, Ontario is seeking a team-oriented cleaner to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, helping ensure a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will handle routine cleaning of Fresh Departments, assist in equipment inspections, follow Food Safety standards, and support certification programs while maintaining supplies.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
