Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program and help maintain a clean, safe shopping environment in Hamilton, Ontario. You will work with store associates to clean Fresh Departments, ensure equipment is maintained, and follow food safety guidelines.

The role includes floor cleaning, compliance with store policies, and participation in required certification programs. Minimum wage starts at 18.05 CAD per hour.

• Communicates with Stocking Coach and cooperates with associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Cleans all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe environment by completing required in-store certification programs and following company policies.
• Cleans floors by mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and carpet maintenance in non-sales areas.
