A downtown hotel in Victoria is seeking a highly motivated Property Maintenance Manager to oversee daily operations and maintenance of the property. The successful candidate will plan the operations budget, supervise repairs and maintenance, and manage staff. A college degree in business or management and a minimum of 3 years' experience are required. Strong communication skills and a criminal record check are mandatory. This is a permanent full-time position offering CAD48.6/hour for 30 hours a week.

Position: Property Maintenance Manager at Helm’s Inn Victoria

Permanent Full-time position with the wage of CAD48.6/hour

Working hours: 30 hours/week

Helms Inn is located in downtown Victoria with walking distance to many signature places and shopping malls. We are seeking a highly motivated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our hotel property assets.

What you do

• Plan and monitor the property operation budget
• Negotiate and administer the purchase of supply and services based on the budget
• Build and implement the schedules and procedures of safety inspection and preventive maintenance projects
• Supervise the repair and maintenance of the machinery, equipment electronic and mechanical systems
• Oversee the services as cleaning, parking, security, safety inspections, snow removal and garbage disposal
• Hire and manage the team & provide the trainings when needed
• Provide the operation report to the owner every month.

Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces when required.

Qualification and Experiences

• College degree or above in business or management
• Min. 3 years related working experiences
• Good communication skill in verbal, written and interpersonal
• Highly self-motivated
• Criminal record check required.
