Project Manager, Health Commons Solutions - (14330)

Sinai Health is looking for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering impactful health system initiatives with our Health Commons Solutions team. In this role, you’ll support the design, implementation, and refining of projects that improve care for priority populations, working alongside Senior Project Leads and Health Commons leadership.

About this team:

Health Commons Solutions Lab is identifying creative solutions to complex problems that require focused collaboration from health and social sectors. We are a team of creative and driven professionals from health, social, public health and design sectors. We bring together experts to design and test new solutions, then work with service providers and funders to deploy and scale those solutions to meet population needs.

In this role you will:
  • Play a supporting role in all phases of project development at the Lab, including initial scoping, research, design, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Work with Senior Project Leads in advancing assigned projects to achieve key milestones and year-end targets
  • Monitor and report on project status to Senior Project Leads and Lab Leadership as necessary
  • Serve as operational liaison with partners for project activities including stakeholder engagements and preparation of deliverables
  • Coordinate communications and engagement strategies with key project partners and stakeholders
  • Conduct needs assessment and co-design interventions with priority populations and communities
  • Support management, analysis, and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative data
  • Support written and oral communication of project-related outcomes and deliverables
  • Integrate feedback from Senior Project Leads and Leadership into product development and ensure high quality of outputs
  • Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required
Job Requirements
Mandatory
  • Successful completion of a Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience, from health or non-health sectors
  • 3 years of experience in areas such as project management, community-based research, program development and implementation
Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Skills and Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of project management best practices and ability to adapt methods and tools as required
  • Understanding of planning approaches that could be used to incorporate local issues, priorities and needs while reflecting broader trends in system policy
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement approaches that address the priorities of multiple organizations, community providers and planners, and the proven ability to network and bring partners together
  • Ability to facilitate group discussions, develop and deliver training and make presentations
  • Models collaborative, cross-portfolio engagement to build consensus and create solutions to complex issues
  • Flexible and self-directed with the ability to manage competing priorities, rapid change and transition with constantly shifting priorities
  • Experience with the management, analysis, and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative data
  • Possesses a high level of accountability and proven capability to identify opportunities, take initiative and think through implications on end-users and target populations
  • Proven consultation, negotiation and consensus building skills with the ability to proactively problem-solve complex issues with a variety of stakeholders
  • Creative, analytical, detail-oriented with solid project management skills
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
  • Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history
