About this role

We are recruiting for a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our Projects team in the Burnaby, BC office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with a variety of administrative tasks that may include : job binders, setup of job in paper flow system, permits, manuals, tender forms & any other duties to help paper flow and job organization
  • Organize and track shop drawings, distributing as needed
  • Data entry and updating systems with information from Project Managers
  • Update the project drawings, purchase orders and job schedule with the change orders
  • Price, extend, confirm hours submitted and data entry as required for extra work orders
  • Make sure the site has all the latest specs, drawings, shop drawings, change orders, schedules
  • Track shipments for orders, track backorders, and keep on top of suppliers for delivery of materials
  • Attend site meetings and site walks to record and produce minutes
  • Print and circulate a variety of reports associated to the project

Your experience and skills

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration or office related position within the construction or related field
  • High proficiency in MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project, are an asset
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Must be team player with good interpersonal and English communication skills
  • Able to read electrical and / or construction drawings, an asset
  • Electrical engineering degree, diploma, relevant education or Electrician TQ, an asset

Salary Range : $55,000-$70,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package . Actual salary will commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
