Encore Canada is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will work with hotel staff and clients on-site, ensuring equipment functions properly and guest needs are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver's license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and meet DOT requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed expectations and needs of internal and external customers with effective communication.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure equipment is working properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues; follow venue safety and supplier protocols.
• Complete system entries, use equipment sheets, and collaborate with staff and vendors.
