Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to install and operate basic audio-visual systems in hotel/convention environments. You will ensure customer satisfaction by accurately setting up, operating, and breaking down gear, and by proactively addressing guest needs on site.

You will interact with clients, monitor events, and maintain strong hotel relationships while adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in educational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains positive relationships with clients on site.
• Meets with guests to verify equipment works and their needs are met; monitors events throughout the day.
• Follows venue safety requirements and supplier protocols; uses equipment sheets and Navigator for bookings and invoicing.
• Loads/unloads/stores gear; prepares, labels, and scans equipment as needed; coordinates with staff and vendors.
