Job summary

Encore Canada seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic/small-scale audiovisual systems in hospitality settings. You will ensure guest satisfaction and coordinate with on-site teams to meet equipment requirements.

The role requires hands-on AV and software troubleshooting, strong communication, and the ability to handle equipment and paperwork accurately. On-site work includes hotel/venue environments with irregular hours, weekends, and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Achieve Technical Level 3 Certification within 180 days.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic AV equipment.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works.
• Troubleshoot equipment or software issues promptly.
• Manage equipment paperwork and invoicing using Navigator.
• Load/unload/store gear; prepare, label, and scan equipment.
