Responsibilities

• Sand modular box bodies and parts to be powder coated.
• Perform chemical titration of wash solution to ensure proper ratios.
• Operate automatic wash machine for cleaning modular box bodies.
• Use manual electrostatic spray gun for powder coating.
• Ensure proper thickness of applied powder coating.
• Dry modular box bodies in curing oven.
• Tend to oven curing powder coating.
• Ensure quality workmanship conforms to specifications.

Role: Painter

Location: Saskatoon

Work Schedule: Day Shift, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Sand modular box bodies and parts/pieces to be powder coated
• Perform chemical titration of wash solution to ensure proper solution ratios
• Operate automatic wash machine which conveys modular box bodies and other pieces through a series of cleaning and rinsing solutions
• Operate and control manual electrostatic spray gun to apply powder coating to box bodies and other parts/pieces
• Ensure proper thickness of powder coating is applied
• Dry modular box body or parts/pieces in curing oven
• Tend to oven which cures powder coating
• Ensure quality of workmanship conforms to specifications and eliminate rework in all applications
