About the role :

As a Principal Project Engineer, you will support the development of AP1000 projects from initiation to completion. You will oversee project design and execution, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to timelines. The Principal Project Engineer will collaborate with teams, provide technical guidance, and promote continuous improvement within the engineering function.

Reporting Line : You will report to the Poland Project Engineering Manager.

• Location: Cranberry Township, PA (Hybrid Work Schedule). The role involves Project Engineering for Poland AP1000 projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop engineering projects in line with goals and industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting innovation and best practices.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Conduct technical reviews, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations.
• Implement process improvements and utilize latest technologies to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications :

• Ability to travel internationally to support the Poland Project development.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project engineering/management or similar roles, with a track record of leading complex projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, engineering principles, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Primavera, Power BI).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• LI-Hybrid
