A leading energy company in Calgary is seeking a skilled Portfolio Architect. This role focuses on defining solution architectures and ensuring alignment with business strategies. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in solutions architecture. Key qualifications include expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Architect to understand, design, and oversee the implementation of enterprise‑scale architectures across our IT, OT, and cloud environments. The role requires expertise in modern architecture frameworks, emerging technologies, integration patterns, and enterprise‑level risk and solution management.
This role will be accountable for overall solution architecture requirements and ensuring our standards and best practices are incorporated into the designs. You will partner with enterprise architects, business leads, and project teams to deliver solution diagrams and documentation, integration specifications, and transition‑to‑operations processes as required.
The successful candidate will contribute as a technology leader, creatively aligning business and technology objectives while helping advance the organization’s overall maturity and resilience across its digital ecosystem.
