What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production, while supporting continuous improvement and housekeeping initiatives
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting; identify and report mechanical or operational issues to maintenance and management
  • Enforce safety, environmental, and quality procedures by conducting daily safety meetings, hazard assessments, and site inspections
  • Provide hands‑on supervision and support to crushing crew members, equipment operators, and labourers to maintain material flow, quality, and production targets
  • Train, mentor, and support crew members to enhance skills, safety awareness, and overall productivity
What Are We Looking For
  • Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively operate mining and aggregate equipment in a production environment
  • Strong commitment to safety, leading by example and consistently following procedures to promote a positive safety culture
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic equipment issues
  • Physically capable, dependable, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks in a demanding, fast‑paced setting
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with experience in aggregate operations (including cone crushers, jaws, screens, and conveyors) and a preference for prior leadership experience
Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination and background check.
Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
