Qualifications

  • Certificate as a Personal Support Worker, HSW, HCA, RPN, RN, or foreign trained health professional with at least a year of experience.
  • Valid police vulnerable sectors check completed in the last 12 months.
  • Experience in providing personal care and assistance with mobility.

We are currently seeking PSWs to provide exceptional in‑home client care using their acquired skills. Become an active member in planning for your client’s care with the assistance of the nurse manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to, assisting with daily activities, personal care, assisting with mobility, light housekeeping, effective reporting and creating activity plans.

Requirements
  • Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent (HSW, HCA, RPN, RN, foreign trained health professional) with a minimum one year experience
  • Valid police vulnerable sectors check (completed within the past 12 months)
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x‑ray (completed within the past 12 months)
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Proficiency to communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • Availability to work every other weekend
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset
  • Access to internet/mobile phone
  • High energy and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
