Job summary

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee to guide customers on accounts, investments and banking solutions. You’ll refer complex queries to the right staff and support daily transactions while promoting digital banking education.

The role emphasizes building customer relationships, complying with regulations, and mobility within the assigned district as training concludes with potential relocation to TD locations in the region.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• IFC or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
• Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and branch software.
• Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
• Strong, independent self-starter with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions and digital education.
• Understand customer needs and guide to the right contact for solutions.
• Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions and resolve issues.
• Suggest improvements to work practices and branch operations.
• Promote a positive, equitable work environment and teamwork.
