Job summary

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee in Coquitlam to help customers with everyday banking needs and product recommendations. You will guide clients to the right staff, educate on mobile and online banking, and assist with transactions and documentation within TD's standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• IFC or equivalent – within 90 days of start date.
• Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet.
• Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
• A self-starter who works independently with strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills.
• A dynamic, diligent communicator who can connect with customers and related teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and problem resolution.
• Guide customers to appropriate staff for solutions while handling confidential matters.
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking trends.
• Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions and report non-standard matters.
• Suggest improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience and achieve excellence.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations and Code of Conduct.
• Promote teamwork and participate in personal performance development.
