Job summary

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee for our Repentigny branch to guide customers on financial needs, open new accounts, and provide investment guidance. You will direct customers to the right staff for solutions and promote TD banking products.

This role emphasizes building relationships, assisting with digital education, and delivering quality customer service. Mobility within the assigned district is required after training, with potential relocation to other TD

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• IFC certification or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
• Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), branch software and internet.
• Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
• Self-starter with strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Strong communicator with ability to connect with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and customer problem resolution related to banking solutions.
• Guide customers to the right contact person for appropriate solutions while maintaining confidentiality.
• Build customer confidence in digital banking through mobile, ATM, and online banking education.
• Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions; resolve issues and report non-standard matters.
• Recommend improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
• Participate in timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics.
• Promote a positive and equitable work environment by sharing knowledge and supporting team goals.
