Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Vancouver is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee to help customers with their financial needs, new accounts, and banking solutions. You will guide customers to the right staff, educate on digital banking, and support front-line operations.

The program includes mobility within the assigned district, with relocation as needed after training. A High School diploma or equivalent and familiarity with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and branch software.
• Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
• IFC or equivalent knowledge within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and issue resolution.
• Understand customer needs and guide to the right contact for solutions while handling confidential matters.
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking to build confidence in digital banking solutions.
• Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions and report non-standard matters to management.
