Carter's in Metro Vancouver Surrey area is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead and develop the sales team on the shop floor. You will greet customers, showcase baby apparel and brand features, and uphold a welcoming, inclusive store environment.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, and driving KPIs with the team, while supporting merchandising, and ensuring security and loss-prevention controls. This role requires flexibility for shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or related management experience required (min 1 year).
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with at least two closing shifts weekly.

Responsabilités

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Analyze business and drive KPIs with the team.
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report on tasks and financial results.
• Partner with Store Manager to plan merchandising standards and promotions.
• Build customer loyalty through company programs.
• Reduce loss through service and operational controls.
