Job summary

Carter’s, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences for growing families in Calgary. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to cultivate a welcoming environment, coach associates, and ensure store standards align with brand goals.

You’ll develop skills through training, participate in recruitment and development, and help manage schedules, performance, and store metrics in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• Strong leadership and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage workforce to ensure genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Model service standards and omnichannel experience while coaching others.
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team.
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results.
