Job summary

Carter’s, Inc. is hiring a Store Manager in Canada to lead teams and drive brand standards for baby apparel across Carter’s and OshKosh lines. You will coach staff, develop talent, and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment while delivering strong customer service and sales results.

This role requires building pipelines, managing payroll and budgets, and guiding merchandising and operations to ensure exceptional shopper experiences and growth for the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports.
• A high school diploma.
• Proficient communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting.
• Develop succession plans by training and developing your team.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment for employees to collaborate and recognize performance to increase employee engagement.
• Grow leaders through providing direction, delegation, and investing in their development.
• Create a genuine customer focus on the sales floor by leading and directing the Leader on Duty program.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
• Execute Company’s direction on merchandising and operations.
• Manage payroll and budgets.
• Understand and analyze KPIs and identify behaviors to drive results.
• Seamlessly lead and integrate an omnichannel experience ensuring teams are trained on the tools available.
• Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs.
• Reduce loss through a consistent level of customer service, education, and operational controls.
