Job summary

Carter’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Winnipeg, Canada, to lead a welcoming team and deliver exceptional customer experiences across our baby and children’s lines. You’ll coach staff, manage scheduling, and partner with the Store Manager on merchandising and promotions.

You will foster a positive, safe workplace, analyze KPIs with the team, and help recruit, train, and develop associates while maintaining high service standards daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma is required.
• Proficient computer and technology skills including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coaching others to success and modeling service standards across omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPI results with the team.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan and report on tasks and financial results using Company tools.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on merchandising standards and promotions.
• Build customer loyalty through Company programs and reduce loss via service and controls.
