ParaMed Home Health Care in Canada seeks a Pediatric Nurse for a casual, school-based role with scheduled shifts and travel across the Waterloo Wellington Region during school hours.

You'll provide pediatric care, collaborate with families and school staff, and maintain accurate records while delivering safe, compassionate care with support from a peer team and comprehensive orientation.

Qualifications

• Mandatory pediatric nursing experience and CNO registration.

What You’ll Do

• Using appropriate assessment tools/techniques to assess patients’ individualized needs
• Executing and continuously monitor care plans
• Engaging patients using a collaborative approach by building rapport and trust
• Maintaining and update professional patient records related to patient encounters and plans

What You Bring

• Registration with the CNO as a Nurse in good standing
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required
• Experience in Pediatric care is mandatory
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset
• Clinical skills in gastric feed, tracheostomy, and ventilation care strongly preferred
• Reliability and flexibility
• Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area
• Passion for making a difference in your community
• Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs
