ParaMed is seeking a Pediatric Nurse for a casual, part-time role providing care to school-aged patients within the Waterloo Wellington Region. The position involves travel during school hours and working to keep patients comfortable, with a focus on safety and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include assessment, execution of care plans, and maintaining accurate patient records, while collaborating with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Registration with the CNO as a Nurse in good standing.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in Pediatric care mandatory.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Clinical skills in gastric feed, tracheostomy, and ventilation care strongly preferred.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area.
• On-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs.
• Passion for making a difference in your community.

This is a new vacancy.

In this nursing role, as a Pediatric Nurse you will have scheduled shifts to care for patients in a school setting. You will work with patients within pediatric ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable. This is a Casual position requiring travel anywhere within the Waterloo Wellington Region during school hours.
