About the Opportunity
- Review select semi-monthly payrolls from across Canada, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance
- Administer select semi-monthly payrolls, including Board Director fees, annual bonuses and other special payments
- Act as primary escalation point for payroll inquiries, providing guidance and resolution
- Support the administration of Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTIP) and related payroll activities
- Collaborate with HR, Finance and internal and external teams to align payroll and business processes
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Lead year-end tax processes including T4s, T4As, and Releve 1, and audits of RQ, EHT and WSIB filings
- Maintain accurate payroll records, documentation and procedures; generate reports for leadership and compliance purposes
- Drive process improvements and support system enhancements
- Assist with internal and external audits
About You
- Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation is required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 - 10 years of progressive payroll experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in Workday, Ceridian, and advanced Excel functions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage effectively across all levels of the Group
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Salary Range
$100,000 - $110,000 /year
