Job summary

Toromont Material Handling in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking a Parts Counter person to join our team. You will use product expertise to assist customers, offer parts recommendations, and ensure timely communication on promotions and stock availability.

The role focuses on accurate parts inquiries, order processing, sourcing and inventory control, and building hydraulic hoses for internal and external customers. Minimum post-secondary education and 3+ years of experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner
• Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties, as well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers

$49,845.00 to $62,305.00
