Toromont Cat in Canada is seeking a Parts Counter person to join our team. You will work at our parts counter providing product expertise, answering inquiries, and handling ordering and backorders, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role includes sourcing, procuring and stocking parts, issuing warranties, and building hydraulic hoses as needed. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary and total rewards.

Formación

• Minimum post-secondary education is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a parts service role.
• Ability to manage parts inquiries and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound work behaviours and follow Health and Safety policies.
• Enhance customer experience by providing product expertise and parts recommendations.
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence by phone and email in a timely manner.
• Oversee daily parts operations including sourcing, procuring, ordering, backorders, counts, cores and warranties; build hydraulic hoses as needed.

Compensation

$49,845 - $62,305

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner
• Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties as well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers

Must-haves for this role:

• Minimum post-secondary education
• 2+ years of experience in a parts service role
