Job summary

Toromont Cat is hiring a Warehouse Person in Canada. The role includes handling parts operations, processing orders, stocking and shipping, and providing top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in line with Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy and initiatives.
• Perform daily parts operations including processing shop and customer orders, stock receipt and processing, picking and delivering parts to customers, and handling freight and stock transfers.
• Ensure customers’ needs are met in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
• Maintain physical and electronic inventory of parts.

$39,940.00 to $49,927.50

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
• Perform all daily functions of the Parts Operations including parts warehouse duties as necessary, including processing shop and customer orders, stock order receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers, processing incoming and outgoing freight and stock transfers
• Ensure customers’ needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
• Help maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory
• Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis
• Safely operate lift truck
• Assemble hoses
• Packaging and shipping of dangerous goods
• Assist with the organization and control of inventory

Must-haves for this role:

• High School Diploma Minimum
• 1 year experience in a warehouse environment
