Job summary

Toromont Cat in St. John’s seeks a Parts Warehouse Person to coordinate daily warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and inventory control to support internal and external customers.

You will handle parts orders, process stock transfers, operate a forklift safely, and provide weekend on-call support for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis. Toromont Cat emphasizes safety, training, and a strong Caterpillar brand across Eastern Canada.

• Must have minimum secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
• Perform all daily functions of the Parts Operations including parts warehouse duties as necessary, including processing shop and customer orders, stock order receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers, processing incoming and outgoing freight and stock transfers
• Ensure customers’ needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
• Help maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory
• Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis
• Safely operate lift truck
• Packaging and shipping of dangerous goods
• Assist with the organization and control of inventory

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team in St. John's! The plays a key role in coordinating and executing day to day operations in the warehouse to ensure the entire team is providing superior service to the internal and external customers. This job provides superior service to support internal and external customers by maintaining daily yard inventory operations, including the shipping and receiving of equipment.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$35,550 to $44,437.50

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.
