Job summary

Toromont Cat in Sudbury, Ontario is seeking a Parts Counter person to support warehouse operations and help customers with parts knowledge and recommendations.

You'll manage parts inquiries at the counter, email, and phone, source and order parts, and assist with inventory and backorders. A post-secondary education and 2+ years in a parts role are preferred. Competitive total rewards and training opportunities are offered.

We are looking for a Parts Counter person to join our team in Sudbury. Your objective will be to actively participate in the support of the warehouse operations through various responsibilities.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$49,845 - $62,305

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyaltyby providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectivelyover the parts counter, throughemail and byphone in a timely and courteous manner
• Managethe daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring andordering parts, following up onbackorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warrantiesas well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers

Must-haves for this role:
