Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Parts Counter Person for Store 90 in Concord. The role is a full-time, permanent position focused on advising customers, distributing parts, and delivering superior service in a busy dealership environment.

The candidate will handle parts inquiries, manage daily operations, and support inventory, backorders, warranties, and hydraulic hose assemblies. On-call availability, including some weekends and evenings, is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum post-secondary education.
• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role.
• Knowledge of DBS, SIS, Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the parts counter with product recommendations.
• Process parts inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner.
• Source, procure, order parts and manage backorders/credits; conduct inventory counts; build hydraulic hoses.
• Provide on-call service as required, including weekends/evenings.

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team in Concord (Store 90) ! The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in customer service at our Branch as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts and consistently providing superior service.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$49,845.00 to $62,305.00

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner
• Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties as well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers
• Provide on call service as required, at times on weekends and evenings

Must-haves for this role:

• Minimum post-secondary education
• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role
• Knowledge of the following system DBS, SIS, Word & Excel
