Job summary

Toromont Cat in St. John's is seeking a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team. This role coordinates and executes day-to-day operations in the warehouse to ensure exceptional service to customers.

You will handle shipping and receiving, maintain yard inventory, operate a lift truck, and assist with inventory control. The position offers full-time permanent status with a salary range of $35,550 to $44,437.50 and may include bonuses as part of total rewards.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to operate lift truck safely.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours.
• Process shop and customer orders, stock receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts.
• Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders.
• Safely operate lift truck.
• Assemble hoses.
• Packaging and shipping of dangerous goods.
• Organize and control inventory.

Job description

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team in St. John's! The plays a key role in coordinating and executing day to day operations in the warehouse to ensure the entire team is providing superior service to the internal and external customers. This job provides superior service to support internal and external customers by maintaining daily yard inventory operations, including the shipping and receiving of equipment.

Compensation

$35,550 to $44,437.50

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
• Perform all daily functions of the Parts Operations including parts warehouse duties as necessary, including processing shop and customer orders, stock order receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers, processing incoming and outgoing freight and stock transfers
• Ensure customers’ needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
• Help maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory
• Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis
• Safely operate lift truck
• Assemble hoses
• Packaging and shipping of dangerous goods
• Assist with the organization and control of inventory
